Rise Up Black Man is the emotionally-charged story of two best friends graduating from college and searching for direction in life. One is enticed into a world of corruption by a charismatic black minister who uses his power to keep his own race down. The other struggles with personal demons of a different nature.

Alone and together, the two friends learn to Rise Up… and to do what’s right.

The film, the debut feature by Kendall Irvin and Jenna McKee, features a young and exciting cast and is accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack by all Oklahoma based bands.
